“In my reflections on the search for ritual, my attention turned elsewhere toward a return. A place that holds something I have lost. Perhaps to my mother’s island, or my father’s homeland. As if to rediscover an origin. Yet, that return never truly took place.”

Ndoho Ange is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is based on movement. Her exploration of ritual has taken shape through spaces that moved through her body and mind: the club, the stage, the music. Welcome to My Jungle emerges from a burning necessity, a space where Ange is neither outsider nor observer but wholly surrendered. Through ritual, the repetition of movement becomes a passage and Jungle music becomes the portal that awakens a blurred memory.
